The Riverton Story: Keeping Music Strong Since 1968
The Riverton Music story began humbly in 1968 when local band director Hal Rindlisbacher converted an old chicken coop into an instrument repair shop. Word quickly spread of Hal’s honest service and excellent workmanship. Soon, customers sought his advice for purchasing instruments, and the retail side of Riverton Music was born.
Today, still family-owned and operated, Riverton Music has grown to serve the greater Salt Lake City metro area with three convenient, full-service locations. Our reputation for expertise, quality products, and unmatched customer service has earned us the title of “Utah’s Community Driven Music Store.”
